Thropton Demesne Farmhouse is situated in the peaceful Northumberland village of Thropton, 2 miles west of the ancient market town of Rothbury which is known as "The Gateway to the Northumberland National Park'.

Approaching from either North or South via the A1, take the A697 Coldstream road at the northern end of the Morpeth bypass. After 7 miles, take the B6344 to Rothbury at Weldon Bridge. Follow the road through Rothbury to Thropton 2 miles away. At the far end of the village, Thropton Demesne Farmhouse B&B is situated at the end of a short private road, the entrance to which is signposted. The house has its own carpark with spaces for 6-8 cars.
